You’re Invited to a Candidate Forum
Monday, April 13 at 6:00 p.m. Town Center West | 116 S. River Street | Hailey
As Blaine County approaches a pivotal primary election, local voters will have a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the candidates seeking to serve in key county roles.
This public event is designed to give voters a clear, side-by-side look at the candidates, their priorities, and their vision for Blaine County’s future.
The forum will feature candidates in two important races. For Blaine County Clerk, incumbent Stephen Graham and challenger Dawn Cieslik will discuss their qualifications and answer questions ahead of the May primary, where voters will decide who advances to the November general election.
Also appearing are candidates for Blaine County Coroner, Eric Demment and Stephen Gaylord. While there is no Republican challenger in this race, the forum offers voters a meaningful opportunity to understand how each candidate would approach this critical public safety role.
The discussion will be moderated by Benjamin Reed, an Idaho journalist and radio news director, who will guide the conversation and ensure a thoughtful and informative exchange.
More than just a preview of the ballot, the forum reflects the Blaine County Democrats’ commitment to transparency, civic engagement, and informed voting. In a time when local leadership matters more than ever, events like this create space for voters to engage directly with those seeking to serve.
Community members are encouraged to attend, bring questions, and take part in the democratic process.
